Thought today I would show you a layout with a seaside theme. This layout was designed by Julie Nankervis. I love the natural design of this layout. The SB Papers used on these pages are from the Coastal Oasis Range and there is lots of stamping on the base page. The Poppy stamp is such a lovely verse.

Firstly I embossed the bubbles on the bottom of the pages, using texture paste through the Stencil  Coastal Oasis Bubbles. Then applied a covering of embossing powder Silver and Bridal Tinsel mixed together, then with a heat gun set the embossing powder. Such a great effect. Then to the stamping using several Kaszazz Stamps. The beautiful large leaves in the centre of the layout were done through the leaf stencil with Distress Oxide Ink and then each leaf cut out and arranged on the page.

The Poppy stamp would be one of my favourites;

 Hi Everyone,

Today has been very busy so far. The weather is beautiful here in Townsville, North Queensland, I am at present getting my flower garden planted for what we call winter up here in Far North Queensland, On the weekend as you know Kaszazz brought out a new Products Range and today I am showing you some of the beautiful butterfly stamps and a card workshop using these stamps. I love butterflies and at the moment have an abundance of Cairns Birdwing Butterflies coming to visit my Birdwing Butterfly Vine and lay lots of eggs. We have many caterpillars and at the moment and one chrysalis. It takes around one month for the butterfly to emerge. So patiently waiting. When a stamp manufacturer says that the stamp is unmounted it means that it NOT attached to a wood block and it has to be attached to an acrylic block. Kaszazz is an Australian Company with its Head Office in Adelaide and they make all their own Rubber Stamps. These stamps will last for years if cared for correctly.

2H2590c Butterflies and Vellum Easel Cards

 Welcome today to my blog. I am glad you have found some me time to make cards or scrapbook. Grab a cuppa sit back and enjoy some inspiration.

Outback Road is one of my own designs. These beautiful photos were sent to me by my daughter in law and when I saw them, decided on the paper I would use. Paper used is from Kasazz would you believe "Greetings from Australia" which is Christmas paper, but used the way I did you would never know. I often use stamps that speak to me on my layouts. I always like my title on the first page in Chipboard. I love to ink it up or emboss it and add to my pages.

I started by adding Texture past to the paper. I coloured the texture paste with Distress Oxide Ink - Aged Mahogany. Using the Stencil Elegant Foundations - Flourish I proceeded to randomly ink over the stencil. I then embossed the Chipboard Words and Scrolls with Embossing Powder Princess Gold.

I always love embossing on my layouts, I think it gives it just that extra nice look. The heart on the right hand side of the photo is a beautiful stamp from the . I have randomly stamped some script over the base paper before adding the Texture Paste.

On Saturday I attended the Team Training Day for The May New Products Release and I was not disappointed. I absolutely love the new papers and stamps they are as you would say right up my alley and suit my style of Scrapbooking. It was a great day and I won 1st Prize with my Competition Entry which I received a voucher from Kaszazz to spend. 

Above is a set of cards and the beautiful Papillon Papers. These papers can be used for male and female layouts as some of the stamps are male grunge. In French, a butterfly is called un papillon (pronounced pap-i-yon). Papillon can also be used to describe someone who is flirty, brilliant, and carefree. Papillon in French also refers to a bow tie or a "butterfly" knot.
