Today I am featuring Surface Cards. I loved making this set of four male cards. I am having a workshop on Sunday 11th October.

During a 2hr workshop you will complete 4 rustic masculine cards, learning how to use SB papers to create a frame, and wallpaper background. Also plenty of stamping fun.

Date:   Sunday 11th October.
Time:  1 p.m.
Place: 142 First Avenue, Victoria Estate, Ingham.

Hello Everyone,

I am just absolutely loving the new Heartfelt range of papers. On this page, although it is all about flowers, I thought I would make a different sort of flower. This flower is made of circles with just two sides folded over, then arranged into a flower shape and glued with Glossy Accents onto a piece of round punched out paper. I then placed a Antique Brad through the middle coloured with my Alcohol Ink Art Marker (AIAM) Cherry and tied around that white waxed twine. This twine is very versatile and can be coloured with your AIAM to any colour to match your layout.  You can also pull and thread from a piece and then after that keep pulling threads, then use these waxed twine threads under flower arrangements, and any embellishments you have on your page.The Stamp which I have used as a title " Just so you know I think you're Perfect" is a new stamp released with the Heartfelt range. I embossed it with Copper Embossing Powder so it would stand out. This photo doesn't really do the page justice it is so pretty with the apricot and pink colouring in the paper. In the Left Hand bottom corner I used the circle stencil and Ranger Texture Paste. This paste is so easy to use and it is perfect for stencils. I then Ink Blended the new Archival Ink colour released - Tea Rose gently over the circles and then with a sponge and my Alcohol Ink Art Marker - Cherry. Dabbed lightly over the circles just to give it a darker colour.

Hi Everybody,

Today I am featuring a page I have scrapped using the New Heartfelt Papers. These papers are Acid Free and lovely to work with. The flowers are the newly released larger paper flowers and paper leaves. These paper flowers and leaves I have coloured with Alcohol Ink Art Markers, in the matching colours to the papers. These Alcohol Ink Art Markers are a must in every scrapbook room. I also coloured the ribbon on the sides with the matching Cherry Art Marker. After colouring the flowers and leaves I then dusted them while still wet with Perfect Pearls to give them a nice shimmer. I sprayed the papers with Dylusions Ink Spray - Cherry and Lemon Zest. All the Dylusions Ink Sprays in the Kaszazz Range co-ordinate with their papers and cardstock.

Essentials card stock has a beautiful "canvas" texture on one side, and is smooth on the other. When you fold your A5 piece in half to create your card, the texture may appear to crack if you are not careful.

We recommend that you score your Essentials first, using a 4914 Tools - Bone Scorer, on the inside (smooth side) of the card before folding it over. This will give you a crisp straight fold every time. Happy Cardmaking!!!
