Hi Everyone,


Yesterday it was so hot up here, I put on the airconditioner in my Scraproom and redid a page I had previously done, with current Kaszazz Products. This photo is of my grandmother and her brother. The Paper I used is Boards 'n' Bricks from the On The Surface range of papers. These papers are very versatile and can be used on almost any scrapbooking layouts and are great for heritage photos. I cut the paper into lengths that looked like the boards of the old shed behind my Grandmother in the photo. I then inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Vintage Paper and distressed the edges to give it an old look.

I also had one of my pages accepted as a new workshop. I loved doing this page it is done from the Boho Range of SB papers.

2H1714 Change Your Thoughts Page and Card

Hi Everyone,

Today I am featuring a double page layout I have done of my grandson. In my grand children's photo albums my main aim is the photo. When you look at the pages I want the photos to be the focal point, therefore I do fairly simple pages, that I think are pleasing to the eye, but the photos are the most important part of the page. I like to do a 5x7" photo on the first page and then fit as many corresponding photos on the second page. On each page I always journal and tell the story of those particular photos. I don't like to have my handwriting on every page as I do not like my handwriting, but in saying that I do think it is nice to have handwritten journaling in the scrapbooks for future generations of my family to see, so I do a lot of Hidden Journaling. You can use anything for journaling boxes. You can use tags and slip them under your photos. You can decorate your tags. Make small envelopes and pop your story in there.  Make small journaling boxes out of the paper you are using on your layout and then pop a tag in the box.  If you look at the second page today, you will see I have made a tag and slipped it under the first photo. I cut out two small hearts from the Ezy Press Heart Die and attached the two together, so you can pull the tag out. The ideas are limitless. I hope you enjoy my pages today.

Today I am featuring a page I have done using the Fellas Range of SB papers. There are three double sided papers in this range and are just right for boys. The chipboard words Baby Boy are from the chipboard range of words and I inked them using the following Baby - Archival Ink - Cobalt Blue / Boy - Distress Ink - Rusty Hinge. All the stamping is done with Archival Ink - Watering Can. The stars were cut on the Ezy Press using the Star Die. I coloured in using my Alcohol Ink Art Markers (Denim and Sunflower) seven small buttons from Kaszazz Button Embellishments. I also used Moment by Moment Cards on the LO from the Winter Range of Cards. These cards are great to Journal on and also make your own embellishments from these cards. I am using them a lot in my Grandchildrens Scrapbook albums. Moment by Moment Cards - each pack contains 108 4x6 cards: 6 of each 18 double sided designs. The cards have been designed in a combination of landscape and portrait orientation. They fit perfectly into Kaszazz SB Album pocket page protectors. (see page 3 of the Kaszazz Catalogue)  There are four card decks and they Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring and each set has been designed to coordinate with Kaszazz's range of Scrap Book Papers. Here is my take on a single page which I have taken from the Framed Journey 2Hr Workshop by Sonya Edwards. On this page I wanted the photo to stand out and be the focal point. I just wanted a plain page (not too busy), as this page was especially done for my Granddaughters Album. On this page I have used the On The Surface - Timber n'Rust, Boards n'Brick and Weathered n' Bark SB Papers. The Backing piece of cardstock is 12 x 12 Oatmeal, Chipboard Word - Memories and some Brads and Waxed Twine and the "Time Together" Stamp from the Timeless Messages Un-cut set.

I also added a Oatmeal Tag as I wanted to write a small story about the day and where this photo was taken.

Today I am featuring a page I have scrapped using the Terrace Garden Range of papers. I have cut the paper and used Vanilla Cardstock as my background. I then sprayed the Vanilla Cardstock with Dylussions Ind Spray Cherry Pie and Lemon Zest. Then using Distress Ink - Forest Moss and stamping with Slihouette Leafy Branch I stamped the leaves at the top of the page. Using Archival Ink - Vernillion I then stamped randomely - the Moroccan Tiles from the Moroccan Tiles Uncut Set. The most wonderful product I have is my set of Alchol Ink Art Markers. These markers match all the papers and cardstock in the Kaszazz Range. I hope you enjoy this page.

Hello Everyone,

I am just absolutely loving the new Heartfelt range of papers. On this page, although it is all about flowers, I thought I would make a different sort of flower. This flower is made of circles with just two sides folded over, then arranged into a flower shape and glued with Glossy Accents onto a piece of round punched out paper. I then placed a Antique Brad through the middle coloured with my Alcohol Ink Art Marker (AIAM) Cherry and tied around that white waxed twine. This twine is very versatile and can be coloured with your AIAM to any colour to match your layout.  You can also pull and thread from a piece and then after that keep pulling threads, then use these waxed twine threads under flower arrangements, and any embellishments you have on your page.The Stamp which I have used as a title " Just so you know I think you're Perfect" is a new stamp released with the Heartfelt range. I embossed it with Copper Embossing Powder so it would stand out. This photo doesn't really do the page justice it is so pretty with the apricot and pink colouring in the paper. In the Left Hand bottom corner I used the circle stencil and Ranger Texture Paste. This paste is so easy to use and it is perfect for stencils. I then Ink Blended the new Archival Ink colour released - Tea Rose gently over the circles and then with a sponge and my Alcohol Ink Art Marker - Cherry. Dabbed lightly over the circles just to give it a darker colour.

Today I am featuring a page I have scrapped using the New Heartfelt Papers. These papers are Acid Free and lovely to work with. The flowers are the newly released larger paper flowers and paper leaves. These paper flowers and leaves I have coloured with Alcohol Ink Art Markers, in the matching colours to the papers. These Alcohol Ink Art Markers are a must in every scrapbook room. I also coloured the ribbon on the sides with the matching Cherry Art Marker. After colouring the flowers and leaves I then dusted them while still wet with Perfect Pearls to give them a nice shimmer. I sprayed the papers with Dylusions Ink Spray - Cherry and Lemon Zest. All the Dylusions Ink Sprays in the Kaszazz Range co-ordinate with their papers and cardstock.

Essentials card stock has a beautiful "canvas" texture on one side, and is smooth on the other. When you fold your A5 piece in half to create your card, the texture may appear to crack if you are not careful.

We recommend that you score your Essentials first, using a 4914 Tools - Bone Scorer, on the inside (smooth side) of the card before folding it over. This will give you a crisp straight fold every time. Happy Cardmaking!!!

Hi Everybody,

Today I am featuring Kaszazz Watercolour Pencils. You can use these pencils in the same way as any other, it's when you add water into the equation that their uniqueness appears. Touch a wet brush directly to the tip of a Watercolour Pencil, or draw directly onto Watercolour Paper, then "wash" over the top with a Paint Brush and clean water. I used the technique of  touching a wet brush directly to the tip of my Watercolour Pencils to colour in the White Kaszazz flowers and leaves used on the cards below. After the flowers and leaves were coloured I lightly covered them with Perfect Pearls to give them a beautiful shimmer look.

On Saturday I attended our TTD when Kaszazz unveiled their NEW CATALOGUE and products. I abolutely love the new papers and stamps and am looking forward to creating some lovely scrapbooking pages and cards with these. I was also lucky enough to have two of my projects featured in the new catalogue.  Below is my TTD Entry which I won first place. Well what can I say. I have been a Kaszazz Consultant for nearly 5years, coming up in October. Every year since I have joined I have made these cards for christmas. They are so easy and so versatile, I don't think they will ever age, they are called Flourish Christmas Cards and were designed by Jo Collingwood. Lots of stamping using Time Holtz Distress Inks, Fired Brick and Pine Needles. Today I have started my project to make christmas cards to donate to my local Animal Rescue. Here are my first set of three cards made from a 2hr Workshop by Beryl Mclean called Lacy Collage Cards. I am very pleased with them. These cards were made using the Vintage Chrismas range of Scrapbook Papers.

I love these photos of my Nanny and her brother. In this layout I used SB papers from the "On The Surface" range of papers which complemented the photo wonderfully. I have embossed the stamps with gold embossing powder and the stamps are from the Ebony and Ivory range.The metal flowers are from the Kaszazz Range of Embellishmnts. They are very versatile and easy to use and would compliment your scrapbooking pages. This page is for my Heritage Album. Have a great day.

Today I am sharing a cute Birthday Card which I adapted from a 2 hr Workshop called Pastel Antique Baby Cards. This card is for a Four year old little girl. The paper I used is from the collection of SB Papers - Early Years - Princess. I made this card 6"x6". The pink cardstock I used is called Bubblegum and I also coloured the Antique Pearl Brad the three pearls and ribbon with my Alcohol Ink Art Marker - Bubblegum to match the cardstock. The number 4 is from the Alphabet Blocks Un-Cut Set of Stamps. These stamps are so versatile, they could be used on Baby and Childrens cards. I am looking forward to the 15th of this month when I will be hosting a 2hr Cardmaking Workshop. We will be making the lovely Provincial Flower Flourish Cards.
